Annie Hall

And they said it couldn't be done. They, of course, being my closest friends and family.

So guess what, MySpace losers? There's a new picture up for you to steal!

This was always my favorite Woody Allen movie. I like the characters and really liked the jokes.

Some other highlights:
- Annie's frequent expressions of "La di da" at the beginning of the movie when she doesn't know what else to say or how to end a conversation. We quoted that from her for weeks ... and still do some today.
- Alvy going to visit Grammy Hall and having Grammy tell him "You're a real Jew" to which Alvy responds "Thank you".
- Earlier in that dinner scene when Alvy pictures himself as a Rabbi.
- All of the many "4th wall" discussions Woody has with us.

By the way, I wouldn't want to live in California either. Too many Californians.

FWIW, there is also a very good "That 70's Show" episode where Eric is spending a night out with his mom for dinner and a movie. They go to see Annie Hall together. What they think during the movie (we hear their thoughts) is clever and their conversation about it driving home is really good.

It's a good movie and I'm glad to see your review. Not sure what else to add. Well, la di da.
