Dizzying Speed

If I keep writing two new movie reviews a week, I actually might be finished by the time my 7-month-old nephew is old enough to read them and mock me for not writing them faster.

how funny is it that most of your references to knowing anything about these movies beforehand are from Simpson episodes.... you kill me fem. you only had one tequila shot???

Didn't see the movie, but it sounds interesting.

Did see the Simpsons episode referenced.

Also don't know why people used to bite into gold. Do they do the same with silver? or bronze? What would the Olympics be like if they all did?

Carl Yastrzemski with mutton-chop sideburns ... I forgot all about that look. I can remember his batting stances, but not the sideburns. I think in the long run that's good.

Just wanted to say keep up the good work and that I look foreward to your next review. No mater how long it takes.

As for the gold biting thing. I think that they do it because gold is softer than other metals like iron pyrite.

Not sure how many times I've seen people parody Howard's 'crazy old coot' dance. It was on an episode of The Simpsons once, but not sure which one.

I actually went out a few years back and bought a '73 Yaz card for a buddy from high school. I think it cost only about $5 or so. Which was well worth it, if at the very least for being able to recount the purchase here in this forum.

When I first dated my current husband (AKA "Vin") he knew I was a real Red Sox fan because I could spell Yastrzemski off the top of my head.
Keep us posted on future road trips!

Actually, I think both this movie and the Simpsons episode are based on the Pardoner's Tale. Could be wrong though.
