Shhhh.....
There's a chance - a slight chance - that the Pittsburgh Penguins might be sold and moved to Hartford. I like Pittsburgh, really (I'd lobby for them to get the Phoenix Coyotes) but the chance of resurrecting the Whalers is too good to pass up. So get your Geoff Sanderson sweaters out, and cue up "Brass Bonanza"; there may be hockey at the mall again soon!
(PS - I know they won't really play in the mall anymore.)

Breakfasts come and go Rene. But Hartford? The Whale? They only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.

Welcome to the list, Hartford. Feel free to chat with some of the other cities currently in line, like Kansas City, Portland, Ore, and Houston. There's rumors that Cleveland and Winnepeg (yes, Winnepeg) might be by at some point. And I wouldn't be overly surprised if Las Vegas showed up, too; but don't bet on it! Ha ha ha.
I love the Pens so much more than the Steelers (that's blasphemy to most Pittsburgh residents), but the last 10 years of moving talk have numbed me to the point where I just want a decision made.

Honestly, we all from CT are annoyed and sick of hearing "This team is going to be the next Whalers" this has happened several times already, even the idea of the Whalers in the Carolinas returning. We are sickened at the idea that hockey will even return to the city of Hartford.
Seriously, do we need the traffic?
Fvck hockey. CT doenst want you back. Just stop.

Simple solution all around!
Penguins to Hartford. Coyotes or Lightning to Pittsburgh.
And Kristen, renounce all ties with Connecticut. It's bound to happen soon, anyway.
