Maybe My Priorities Are Skewed
I guess I'm a little less outraged by John Kerry's non-joke than I am by the fact that the White House still has no clue what exactly is going on in Iraq, or how we're supposed to "win" when we don't even know what that means, or that they abandoned the search for a kidnapped soldier because Iraq told them to, or that people who won't go within 3000 miles of Iraq reflexively question the patriotism of anyone who says a discouraging word about the War or Whatever, or that Osama Bin Laden and the anthrax mailer are still out there and no one seems to care, or that the idiots on the Right who think Bush is really really smart! suddenly become the Grammar Police when Kerry says something stupid, or that there's even a chance that the Democrats won't take Congress in a landslide.
Maybe it's just me.

Yeah, but I can't help but be pissed at Kerry too. A week before democrats are poised to regain at least one house of Congress is not the time to go spouting off, giving Bush and the Republicans more ammo to use in the crucial days before the vote.

Oh, I totally agree - Kerry can be a spectacular idiot when he wants to be. I just hope (for one last time) that the electorate can see through the manufactured outrage and crocodile tears being shed over this crap by Bush and his minions.

I third that one ... I was slightly annoyed that Kerry finally developed a spine and finally started going on the offensive only to put his foot in his mouth and give those shameless right wing spin doctors one last lifeline to hold onto. I, too, hope that the electorate will see past the smokescreen ... but they've failed to before. I won't relax until Wednesday morning when the Dems take back Congress, and even then it might take a while because you never know what those criminals have up their sleeves.
