Dan Shaughnessy Cliff Notes

I already had my Patriots/Bears column all written by Sunday morning, but they lost, but the Globe had already blocked out a space in the sports page for it, so here's most of what I'd written anyway. Plus I may not get to go to Miami now.

Shaugnessy's column is usually a waste of space in the Globe. These observations (if you can call them that) are yet another example. If he really is a fan and not a frontrunner, why ISN'T he at the Celtics' game tonight? A good fan is there in good times and bad. A good reporter is as well. I guess he is neither.
