More Terrible News For the Celtics
Dennis Johnson died today. 52 years old.
DJ's most lasting moment, of course, was on the Isiah inbounds pass in '87. Larry Bird made a legendary, unbelievable steal - but as he stole it, Dennis was already cutting to the basket, ready for the pass and the layup.
Larry called him the best teammate he ever played with. We'll miss you, DJ.

He was a great player. I remember hearing about the Celtics getting him in a trade for Rick Robey and being completely psyched. It was a steal. He was great in the clutch. Too bad he had to die so young. Thanks for the memories, DJ.
