FWIW, tried to post this on the Bostonist site, but got a server error:

Hmmm, I wonder if that 1957 team COULD beat the winner of tonight Celts-Bucks game if they played right after the regular 2007 game. They were before my time, but just the thought of Cousy (even at ~ 70) passing the way that he probably still can to Sharman or Heinsohn, and with Russell there to block any shot, who knows?

The only issue may be stamina. If it was a 10-minute, winner-take-all deal, the old guys might just do it. But not a 48 minute game.

OK, maybe not, but it was fun to think of for a few seconds.

Anyway, the Celtics will be better next year. Right? RIGHT? (please be right)
