Really?
So Team McCain spends three months telling us that Obama is inexperienced, then he picks the first-term governor of a state with 560 people?
UPDATE: Well, she was in the PTA. OK, then.

Because Posting CNN.com Screenshots Is Easier Than Writing
I wonder if the people in the Crime department checked with the people in the Living department, or vice versa, before posting their headlines. (click it to see it)

Houses II
Sadly, No! runs down all the right-wing spin about the fact that John McCain doesn't know how many houses he owns. My favorite comment from yesterday was someone saying, in all fairness, they aren't sure how many paperclips they own.

Houses
Dear Republicans: There is no good way - no good way on earth - to spin the fact that your candidate had to ask his advisors how many houses he owns. But please, keep trying. It's fun to watch.
UPDATE: Obama's response. Sweet.

Two Geography Links
Here's a guy who's been to see a game at every NCAA Division 1 football stadium.
And here's detailed maps and information about some of history's most famous voyages and road trips, from Marco Polo (whose trip sucked because people kept getting separated from the party and had to keep calling out his name - you try putting up with that for 11,000 miles) to Jack Kerouac.

Fun With Avatars
So I met some cool people in North Carolina, and found out they're all going nuts making manga avatars of themselves. Thus inspired, here's a pictorial salute to my usual Monday Night Trivia Team. (even though one's left for NC, which is why I was visiting there in the first place, he still belongs here until Ben overthrows him in our hearts)
Make your own. And then send me a copy.

BunkoSquad went on line for the first time on August 11, 1998. Weird, huh?
Anyway, I'm currently travelling, so you're gonna have to celebrate without me if you're of a mind to.

Anthrax Killer Acted Alone...Well, That's Good Enough For Me
So the government says that Bruce Ivins did it all by himself, there was no conspiracy, nobody else was involved, all those strange coincidences are just in fact strange coincidences, nothing to see here, move on, trust your government.
It's just too bad that Ivins was shot by Jack Ruby while in police custody killed himself before we could find out the whole truth.

But He Can't Be Wounded 'Cause He's Got No Heart
Kidnapping his daughter. Having a shady past. Won't provide his identity to authorities. Possibly implicated in a murder.
I'm very disappointed in you, Elvis Costello.
