Best. Jury Duty Story. EVER.

Take the essential plot of Grumpy Old Men, change the characters from loveable old farts Lemmon and Matthau to two angry ex-cops with hair triggers, and ratchet up the mayhem and the hatred. Then throw the whole thing into court, and seat a local blogger and one of my favorite raconteurs onto the jury.

Pop a bag of popcorn, send the kids to play outside, and read Suldog's tale. Here are parts one, two, three, four and the conclusion.

Thanks! Unsolicited praise is always gratifying.

Wow, that was amazing. Much more invigorating then when I was picked for jury duty (it was kinda boring, the only amusing thing being one of the lawyer's ties was too short). I was trying not to crack up at work. Funny and thorough!
