You Think Better Of Me Than This, Right?
So I'm in Brooklyn this weekend, on the way to a in-home brunch party, and we stop off to pick up and bring one of those Dunkin Donuts' "Box-O-Joe"s. While she's pouring the box, I hear, "Oh, you're not going to like this." And, in fact, I don't. The Canton-based Dunkie's sells coffee boxes in the NY metro area that commemorate the Giants' Superbowl win.
Now, those of you who know me, know that I have a long list of dislikes, and near the top of that list are "Dunkin Donuts coffee" and "NY-based sports teams".
So, I thought, it would be just my luck to be hit by a car now, and have the headline in the Post read: "GIANTS FAN KILLED ON DUNKIN DONUTS COFFEE RUN". The embarrassment, for everyone I know who knows better. The cries at the funeral: "We never knew! He could have been open about his Giants fandom to us! Maybe he loved the Knicks, too!"
So happily for me, if not for narrative purposes, I made it across the street safely.

Remind me to tell you the story of former HBS Amanda and her boyfriend's attempts to impress her parents with his fancy-schmancy Seattle coffee. It did not go well.

it's not like I said dunkin' donuts coffee is the best thing ever, but this one says McDonald's is better. so.
